EBay at Valley Fair is Over

selling-assistant.jpgI ran by the EBay kiosk on Friday last week (December 21st) and stopped by to have a quick chat and found out that EBay was planning to shut down the Instant Sale/ Drop Off program they had set up at the Macy's Women's side of the mall.

The last day was slated to be Wednesday, December 26th, 2012 and, yes, I know, it's Friday the 28th that I'm making this announcement, but I've been otherwise detained due to snow, Christmas festivities and a blessed vacation. (Yay!)

So what to do now? EBay was directing customers to go to their website:

So users can continue doing this type of sale without the kiosk. I asked if this was it for EBay at Valley Fair and they said, there were no more plans for EBay to remain at Valley Fair but that could change in the future.

If you really liked the kiosk and you think it's a great idea, give EBay some feedback, I'm sure they would appreciate it.

I also found out that not only were they taking electronics, but also clothes - but of course, not just anything. The parameters are laid out on the website:   www.ebay.com/dropoff

Good bargain and auction hunting. I got a lovely tote bag for my troubles. Check back at ClickActivate for more information about the valley and matters in the tech world. Don't forget that we have $50.00 websites as a new product to help businesses get setup online quickly and painlessly.
